Scrabble Art Gift

Today I want to share with you a gift that I gave my mother-in-law last year for Christmas.
Just like any Grandmother...she absolutely LOVES her grandchildren (all 11 of them!).
This is a very quick and easy gift...the hardest part is figuring out where to place the letters.
What you will need:
Scrabble Letters for each person represented
Scrapbook/Shadow box frame
(You will have to decide which size depending on the length and how many names will be represented)
Fabric for the backing (some frames come with fabric)
Embellishments (if wanted)
Hot Glue & Hot Glue Gun
What you will need to do:
Find the letters for all of the names you want represented.
Lay your letters out and find which letters you want to build off of.
You need to make sure it looks centered, you can measure it if you want
(I just eyeball mine, because that's how I am).
After you have your display ready, glue the name you started with and add the others.
It is so fun and easy to make this project!
You can make many variations of this Scrabble Art!
You can start with your last name and add the names of each family member to it.
The sky's the limit when it comes to creativity, so be creative!

A Christmas Tree For Small Spaces

I have mentioned before that I don't live in the biggest home (the price of living in California). Actually, since we have 5 people living in a 1,100 square foot, 3 bedroom home means we need to get creative about where to put things. I shared with you a few months ago how I made room for my son's nursery (click here to see) as well as our 'office space' (click here to see), and this time I needed to get creative on where to put our Christmas tree.
Growing up, we always had a real tree and I wanted to bring that tradition into my family, so I brainstormed and saw an idea on Pinterest and brainstormed some more and decided on this...
Perfect, right?!
I borrowed the sled from my mom, and I already had the galvanized tub, as well as all of the decorations!
I just love how it turned out!!!

Of course I needed my little helper!

If you live in a small space and have a little floor space, this would be perfect for you!
~ Merry Christmas,
