Jewelry Organizer

Last week I shared with you a 'mini wall makeover' in my bedroom and today I am going to share with you another, which houses my jewelry. I usually have my jewelry in my bathroom, but I was getting tired of how unorganized it was and taking up too much space.

So this is what I came up with:

The board I used was a drawer front. It was from an outside dresser that fell apart. I wasn't sure about  what I wanted to do with the drawers, so I just left them outside. Well...with the different weather we have here in Colorado it wrecked havoc on them and when I finally decided what to do with them, they fell apart when I picked them up to move them! The knobs didn't fall off, which worked out perfect because there would have holes that would have needed to be filled.

Ok...enough will all of that and onto making the board.
I laid out the knobs where I wanted them and my husband screwed them onto the board for me. You can see a tutorial here from a jewelry holder I made awhile back. When he was finished attaching the knobs he put a picture hanger on the back of the board, then hung it on the wall.

I realized I needed somewhere to put my cuffs (these are a new obsession), so I walked around my house looking for something to use and I found that little wire basket.
It works perfectly...don't you think?
I want to share with you another obsession I have...necklaces from HEartbyCC (click on the link to see what she has)! All I can say, is I absolutely love all of my necklaces and I love the message they send. Every time I wear them I get compliments! The bottom right was a giveaway on Instagram and I WON! Thank you Candice for your beautiful art work and the message that each piece gives, not only that...thank you for the blessings you pray over each piece that you send out!
Have a MARVELOUS Monday!
I know I will (because we only have 2 more days of school)!
